Merdeka 118 — a skyscraper in Kuala Lumpur with a height of 679 meters, built in 2023.
Merdeka 118 has become the second tallest building in the world after Burj Khalifa in Dubai (828 meters). It is also the tallest building in Malaysia and the entire Southeast Asia region.
The building was officially opened by the King of Malaysia on January 10, 2024, but construction work inside is still ongoing. The observation deck are expected to open in Q4 2024. Park Hyatt hotel hotel is scheduled to open in Q2 2025, and shopping center are expected to open no earlier than Q3 2025.
